The idea: A cropped picture is shown and people guess what it is eg:

is: a ringbinder/notebook

clue given at posters discretion.

# Post a picture, be it your own or from the web of something, someone, some place and be prepared to give clues along the way.

# Try not to make pictures too obscure, but on the other hand not drop dead simple.

# Do not make pictures too much out of focus, if at all; and crop to a reasonable size to avoid squinty eye syndrome.

# If you are not going to be around for a long period of time, let people know so others can post more pictures to solve whilst you’re away. Your puzzle may be put on hold awaiting your return.

# Anyone may post a picture puzzle at any time as long as there are not too many.

# Anyone may call for a judgement to slow the number down if there are too many, requesting no further pictures to be posted until some of the existing ones are solved.

# If you think you know the answer to one, post, stating which you are responding to and leave only one answer. No multiples.

# When replying (poster or guesser), please quote/link to the photo you are referring to as it avoids confusion.

# You may ask questions with multiple choices but if one of those contains the correct answer you will not be awarded a win until you or someone else posts it on its own.

# Once the correct answer has been given, the OP must acknowledge the winner and post the whole picture.

# The winner shall be deemed to be the first to post the correct answer.

# Any disputes as to what is technically the correct answer will be determined by the poster of the puzzle.

appologies if this is a crap idea and none is interested.

here's an easy one to start you off:

That's supposed to be an easy one? I'm in trouble then!

I'll guess it's a cannon sticking out of the side of a wooden ship, but I'm probably so wrong it's not even funny.

What the face is on. No, not a drum or a musical instrument. :-)

That's long enough. Good guesses, guys.

The Mrs picked this up at a noodle shop in Japan.

So since the game's also on the PPMB, maybe we should make this the "R" rated version. ;-) I guess there's only so much you could do, though.
