Take my new obnoxious quiz!

It had to be done.

I received the "I'm in command of the English Language" response.

I think that maybe it needs to be worked on a bit. :)

Congratulations, you have a decent command of the English language. Thank God someone around here does.

Yay me! Although I wasn't sure on the spelling mistake. Did you mean the grammar mistake with "makes" instead of "make"? Or am I just used to skimming over errors? :)

I intentionally spelled "grammar" as "grammer".

Sure make me want to hit the "back" button? Isn't it "makes"? The other way just sounds wrong to me.

I assumed everyone here would pass. :)

Ohhhhh, now I see. I was looking at the question itself, not the answers.

"Do you realize that poor grammar and spelling makes people take one look at your quiz and run screaming into the night?"

Plural subject, singular verb. That's what I was referring to. :P

You were just going for irony, right?

:-(

Don't feel bad! It's a common mistake--I do it, too, and I'm a freaking English major. I wouldn't even have noticed if it hadn't been for the question referring back to it, which had me searching it for at least a full minute before I even noticed.

Besides, a quiz about spelling/grammar without an unintentional mistake is like a day without sunshine. ;)

:D :D :D :D

I'm not surprised. I love English more than my native language and I'm always trying to get better at it. I really enjoy it.

And for the record, I also noticed...

This: "Do you realize that poor grammar and spelling makes people take one look at your quiz and run screaming into the night?

And this: "No one cares but you, grammer Nazi."

two things.

1) I apparently am a master of my own language.

2) I gave your quiz a 5 because there is nothing that pisses me off so much as a half-congealed mess of verbage foisted upon one as entertainment.
I would like to note here that this is the first quiz I have ever voted for. I don't believe in that bullshit, but I'm all for supporting anything that discourages the use of an apostrophe in a plural. (like two apple's - man it hurt to write that.)

I would like everyone to realise that a spell-checker is no substitute for a functioning brain and the most rudamentary education in the English language.

The second was intentional. The first was...um, a secret test. Yeah. Secret test.

Glad ya'll enjoyed it.

Hahahahahaha

I'm sorry but you giving a quiz with the sole purpose of attacking other people's grammar and capital letters and such is like me giving a quiz attacking people for being assh*les.

And yes, even I caught the "makes" thing.

I fixed the unintentional mistake.
