For those of you who don't know the object of the original game is to get the named actor to the actor Kevin Bacon in the fewest 'stepping stones' in between. For example I can get Catherine Zeta-Jones to Kevin Bacon in two steps:

She was in Chicago with Richard Gere
who was in Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts
who was in Flatliners with Kevin Bacon

also

She was in Chicago with Renee Zelwegger (sp?)
who was in Jerry Mcguire with Tom Cruise
who was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon.

I'm sure there are more and possibly a shorter one, but you get the idea.

Ok, now you know the game, here are the rules. We're playing the game with a bit of a twist. The twist is we will be naming BOTH ends of the chain instead of sticking with just Kevin Bacon. Tv shows are fair game, You may use IMDB as a reference for spelling only. The first person to post the answer wins, unless a shorter 'chain' is posted within 2 hours, If someone DOES post a shorter one, you have another 2 hours unless the chain posted is the shortest possible (ie something like Brad Pitt was in Interview with a Vampire with Tom Cruise)

Once a Winner is announced, they get to start the next chain.

Ok here is your First challenge.

Get John Wayne to Kevin Spacey in the fewest links.

John Wayne was in "The Shootist" with Ron Howard, who directed "Apollo 13", which featured Clint Howard, who was in "Armaggedon" with Bruce Willis, who was in "Die Hard With A Vengeance" with Samuel L. Jackson, who was in "The Negotiator" with.......Kevin Spacey!

What do I win?

How about.....

Bruce Willis to Chuck Norris

very good, but you have to wait two hours and if no one beats your score THEN you win :)

I think it will be hard and kind of boring to do that with just Kevin Bacon. I think someone should start and then propose another couple to match, that way it would be easier and more dynamic instead of doing it with Kevin Bacon all the time. The last person who posts the last chain gets to decide the next couple for the chain.

You've got the same problem with the six degrees of Kevin Bacon game as I do... I just don't remember any Kevin Bacon movies off the top of my head...

Ok, I'll accept the challenge, even though I totally suck at this!

Bruce Willis was in "Pulp Fiction" with Tim Roth, who was in "Rosengrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" with Richard Dreyfuss, who was in "Jaws" with Roy Scheider, who was on "Seaquest DSV" with Jonathan Brandis, who was in "Sidekicks" with Chuck Norris!!

Chuck Norris is a tough one, since I've seen very few movies with him in it, and none of them were terribly memorable.

Keanu Reeves starred in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, with Jane Weidlin as Joan of Arc, who also had a bit part in Clue, starring Christopher Lloyd as Professor Plumb, who starred in Taxi with Tony Danza.

Teri Garr provided the voice of Marry McGinnis in Batman Beyond, which also featured Stockard Channing as Barbra Gordon, who was in Grease with Didi Conn.

You want a really bizarre one? Try this:

Mae West to Denzel Washington.

I have the exact chain in mind, but let's see if someone else gets it first. Bonus points for whoever can do it without resorting to the IMDB or similar references. ;)

Excellent! But mine is shorter. <grin>

Mae West was in "Myra Breckinridge" with Rex Reed, who was in "Superman" with Gene Hackman, who was in "Crimson Tide" with Denzel Washington.

I realize you don't allow TV show references, so this one doesn't count, but if it did, I'd have:

Roger Moore was in an episode of "Alias" with Jennifer Garner, who played Elektra in "Daredevil" with Ben Afflieck.

I'll let someone else do an actual movie link. :-)
